Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your 5-day Uganda safari begins upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide. He will assist you with your luggage and provide a brief introduction to your thrilling adventure. Following the meet-and-greet, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which takes approximately 8-10 hours. Along the way, enjoy picturesque views of rolling hills, terraced farmlands, and vibrant local communities.

Brief Itinerary of the 5 Days Uganda Safari

If you arrive in the morning, you’ll travel directly to Bwindi. However, if your arrival is in the afternoon, you’ll need to spend the night in Kampala and depart at 6:00 a.m. the next day for your journey. To facilitate a smooth itinerary, we recommend that visitors arrive in Uganda in the morning to enable a same-day transfer to Bwindi.

The journey from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park features stunning landscapes, rolling hills, and vibrant local culture. To ensure a comfortable experience, we provide spacious vehicles with air conditioning, regular stops for refreshments, and knowledgeable guides who share insights about the region, making your trip enjoyable and less tiring!

You will arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the late afternoon and check in to your lodge. Take a moment to relax and appreciate the stunning views of the lush rainforest surrounding you as you prepare for the thrilling gorilla trekking adventures ahead.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On Day 2 f the 5 Days Uganda Safari, Wake up early for breakfast, then prepare for one of the most thrilling experiences of your safari: You will leave the hotels with a packed lunch as gorilla trekking takes much time in the wild where there is no access to food. For a more thrilling experience, carry water, sunscreen, insect repellent, a camera, sturdy hiking shoes, and light snacks to keep your energy up.

At around 8:00 AM, gather at the park headquarters for a briefing by the rangers. You will be assigned to a specific gorilla family based on your fitness level and interests. After the briefing, embark on your trek into the dense forest of Bwindi. The trek can be strenuous, lasting anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family. Keep your camera ready for potential wildlife encounters, including various bird species, butterflies, and other primates.

Once you locate your assigned gorilla family, you’ll have one hour to observe these incredible creatures in their natural habitat. Watch as they interact, feed, and care for each other, a truly humbling experience. After the trek, return to your lodge sharing stories with fellow trekkers about your encounters.

In the afternoon, take a guided walk to a nearby Batwa community to learn about their culture and traditional practices. Engage with the locals, listen to their stories, and witness traditional dances. Return to your lodge for dinner and spend the evening reflecting on the day’s extraordinary experiences.


Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After a warm breakfast, check out and depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey takes about 2-3 hours, offering beautiful scenery along the way, including views of the Rwenzori Mountains.

Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s premier wildlife destination, renowned for its diverse ecosystems. Expect to see elephants, lions, buffaloes, and hippos during your game drives. Additional activities include boat safaris on the Kazinga Channel, birdwatching, and guided nature walks for a comprehensive wildlife experience.

Upon arrival in Jinja, you have the option to participate in various activities, including;
