The park is approximately 305 kilometers from Kampala, a journey covered in about five to six hours with a 4×4 wheel drive. The roads `leading to Murchison falls to the park are high ways that are tarmacke upto Masindi with the final stretch being gravel roads.

The drive to the park is scenic featured with great views of the country side lush landscapes, forests, vibrant villages making it rewarding. It is relatively long journey hence it s featured with some stops on request to refresh and stretch.
