Day 1: Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Kisoro
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, meet your safari guide and embark on a guided city tour of Kigali. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local craft markets, and experience Rwanda’s vibrant culture.
After lunch, drive to Kisoro in southwestern Uganda through the Cyanika border while enjoying beautiful views of the Virunga Volcanoes and Lake Mutanda.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Virunga National Park
Wake up early and transfer to Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Following a briefing from park rangers, begin your unforgettable mountain gorilla trekking adventure.
Tracking gorillas in Virunga offers the opportunity to encounter one of the world’s most endangered primates in their natural habitat.
You will spend one magical hour with the gorillas while observing their social behavior and taking photographs.

Day 3: Mount Nyiragongo Hiking Adventure
After breakfast, transfer to Kibati Ranger Post to begin your hike to Mount Nyiragongo.
Standing at 3,470 meters above sea level, Mount Nyiragongo is famous for having one of the world’s largest active lava lakes.
The trek takes approximately 5 to 6 hours through lush forests and volcanic landscapes.
Overnight at the summit cabins while enjoying spectacular views of the glowing lava lake.
Day 4: Descend Mount Nyiragongo and Transfer to Lake Kivu
Enjoy sunrise over the volcano before descending back to Kibati.
After lunch, drive to the shores of Lake Kivu, one of Africa’s most beautiful freshwater lakes.
